Civics | Government | Politics

I graduated from Yale’s top-ranked Political Science department, earning a B.A. with honors. I offer expertise in political science, political theory, international relations, comparative politics, and political history. My academic background lends itself well to any college or high school government/politics course, particularly the AP curriculum, where I have my own “crash course” and teaching methods.

In addition to strong academic success, I have significant “real world” experience in politics and government—working on a major presidential campaign, conducting research at leading think tanks, and starting a national civic education non-profit. These experiences prepare me well for any civics, government, or politics questions my students throw my way, as well as mentorship in the field.

I’m always eager to have a good political discussion—or to share about my forthcoming book, Whistling Past the Graveyard, which critically analyzes the last 12 years of American politics.
